Library Collection

Books

At WIS, our Primary School Library is uniquely positioned to support students' language learning because the collection has been developed in three languages: English, French and Spanish.

Each language is easily identified on the shelves by our students and teachers through color-coded spine labels.

Students have access to a broad range of materials including (but not limited to) picture books, early readers, chapter books, a non-fiction and reference collection, books on CD, magazines and Playaways.

Online Databases

Online databases aimed at primary school-age children are also collected through annual subscriptions. They range from encyclopedias to videos to a child-friendly internet search engine. View our full list of digital resources and don't hesitate to contact us for help using them or passwords.

Tumblebooks is a collection of online ebooks in English, French and Spanish with a read-aloud feature. Students can choose their language from the home page.
